Following the success of Laowai, our client obtained this DTES retail storefront for a Bar / Restaurant with a similar secret access concept. This Tenant Improvement required layout of new kitchen, bar and washrooms with the floor area categorized as a small suite to allow minimal required structural upgrades to this Change of Use TI permit. Major Water and Sewer Upgrades were avoided because it was noted that a once former use as a Bakery had in fact more fixtures than our proposal. Bagheera is currently under construction.
